Nutrition Counselling

Nutrition & Feeding Therapy

Children with complex needs often have unique nutritional requirements. Food allergies, intolerances, restricted diets, growth concerns, tube feeding, and the nutritional gaps created by limited eating all require expert dietary guidance. Our nutrition counselling provides personalised, evidence-based dietary plans tailored to your child's specific medical and developmental needs.

As an Accredited Practising Nutritionist with a Master's in Human Nutrition, Chloe assesses your child's current nutritional intake, growth trajectory, and dietary patterns. She then develops practical, achievable nutrition plans that account for your child's food preferences (even if very limited), sensory sensitivities, medical conditions, and your family's lifestyle and budget.

Signs Your Child May Need Support

  • Nutritional adequacy assessment for restricted diets

  • Growth monitoring and failure to thrive management

  • Food allergy and intolerance dietary planning

  • Tube feeding (PEG/NG) management and weaning plans

  • Vitamin and mineral supplementation guidance

  • Texture-modified diet planning

  • Autism-specific nutrition strategies

  • School and daycare meal planning

  • Collaboration with paediatricians and GPs

Our Approach

Initial sessions are typically 60 minutes, with 30–45 minute follow-ups. Chloe works collaboratively with your child's paediatrician, GP, and other therapists to ensure nutritional recommendations integrate with the broader therapy plan. Practical support includes meal planning, recipe modification, supermarket guidance, and coaching for caregivers.
